Drusian Prosecco Superiore di Cartizze
The Drusian Prosecco Superiore di Cartizze is a white sparkling wine that is especially prepared of the typical Prosecco grapes produced in the tiny little region of Cartizze in the Valdobbiadene DOC. The area consists of an approximate 110 hectares of land area to be precise.
Thanks to the quintessential geographical characteristics of this petite hilly region, the splendid abundance of ample sunlight in combination with the particular Mediterranean micro-climate, this area in Valdobbiadene is the best for growing a unique wine. No wonder the Drusian Prosecco Superiore di Cartizze is a rare quality wine with an inherent elegance and finesse in structure. Thanks to the distinctive Charmat method of fermentation used in its preparation, the Drusian Prosecco Superiore di Cartizze features a pleasant and splendid sophistication making it the ultimate dessert wine.
The Drusian Prosecco Superiore di Cartizze has a straw color with hints of yellow gold. The prosecco grapes for this wine are harvested in the month of October, from the 1st till the 10th. This wine tastes the best when served at a temperature of 6-8 degrees Celsius. As far as storing is concerned, Drusian Prosecco Superiore di Cartizze retains superior flavor when stored at a temperature not more than 15 degrees Celsius. The wine should be consumed within the same year of production and cannot be stored for more than 2 years.
